Introduction [Biosketch]

Dr. Ashim Das Astapati joined erstwhile Gurucharan College, presently Gurucharan University, Silchar on 27-04-1998. Since then I have been teaching at the UG level with an experience of 28 Years. I have a research experience of 10 years leading to completion of Ph.D in Higher Plant Ecology under Assam University, Silchar,, PhD awarded in 2008. I have a good number of research and review publications in scopus indexed, web of Science, UGC CARE etc.
